Company Profile
Spancrete’s inception in August 1990 introduced its revolutionary product, the Hollowcore Plank, affecting builders throughout the region. This product is produced under license from Spancrete Machinery Corporation of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Spancrete is a member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and the Spancrete manufacturers Association (SMA). Through the PCI and SMA, and benefits from the experience of fellow members world-wide.
Spancrete’s warehouse, cleverly nestled on a ten acre site at the O’Meara Industrial estate in Arima is a fully functional, computerized batching plant.
Proven to operate with the strictest quality assurance and Quality Control System to ensure a consistent quality product users anywhere in the world can enjoy.
Efficiently equipped with modern production techniques, supported by skillfully crafted engineers and technicians makes Spancrete Caribbean today one of the leading developers of Precast/Prestressed concrete technology in the Caribbean. Rated Production capacity remains 100 cubic metres per day.
One of Spancrete Caribbean’s proudest moments was being awarded the Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year VI Award for 1998 as a result of annual export sales from 40% to 80%. Spancrete exports throughout the region and continues to be involved in ongoing projects supplying floors and roofs to banks, hotels, schools, offices in Barbados, Curacao, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Trinidad and Tobago.
